At GP practice H. Boelhouwer we support the maintaining, continuation and improvement of health care in the Netherlands. Therefore we are happy to contribute to the training of new health care providers and are in addition to GP practice also a training practice.

In our practice is an AIOS employed.

• AIOS (Physician in Training to become Specialist)
  An AIOS is a graduated physician who is specializing to become general practitioner. For this the AIOS attends lectures at the university and does an internship in a GP practice.
  Within the GP practice the AIOS carries out consultation hours and consultations for a year. The AIOS is assisted by and is under the responsibility of a supervisor (an experienced general practitioner).
  • If you think, because of the nature of your complaint, it would be better for you to be helped by your own GP, mention this when you make an appointment by telephone. Then we will take this into account.

Because our GP practice is also a training practice it may be that it sometimes takes a little more time, than you are used to from us, before you are helped or that a consultation takes a little longer. We ask for your understanding.
